Description | The project entails the stabilization of approximately 2,000 feet of stream banks along an approximately 2,300-foot reach of South Fork Pheasant Branch that suffered damaged due to the August 2018 and various 2019 flood events. The work includes stabilizing stream banks using bioengineered treatments comprised of vegetated reinforced soil slope (VRSS) soil lifts on root wad toe wood (approximately 260 feet) or VRSS soil lifts on riprap toes (approximately 300 feet), as well as riprap (1,050 feet) and grading (approximately 270 feet) |
