Water and Sewer Improvements Phase I

In general, the work on this project consists of the removal and replacement of approximately 6,000 LF of sanitary sewer main and approximately 6,000 LF of water main for the Little Egg Harbor Municipal Utilities Authority. Work shall take place on East and West Mohawk Drive, East & West Delaware Drive and East & West Mullica Drive in the Township of Little Egg Harbor, Ocean County, New Jersey. General Construction: The scope of the work is to include mobilization, soil erosion and sediment control, by-pass pumping, dewatering, traffic control and cleaning and restoration along East and West Mohawk Drive, East & West Delaware Drive, East & West Mullica Drive in Little Egg Harbor, Ocean County, New Jersey. Water System Construction: The scope of the work includes the removal and disposal of all items according to the plans (disposal of any asbestos containing material/pipe shall be performed according to all Federal, State and Local requirements. The cost of removal and disposal shall be included in the cost of the various bid items in the proposal), truck manifest trip tickets of any asbestos containing material/ pipe to ensure proper disposal, replacement of a contract quantity of 6,000 LF of 8" PVC and all associated fittings and appurtenances, installation of 11 fire hydrants, 220 service connections and the installation of 3,500 SY of HMA 12.5M64 along East and West Mohawk Drive, East & West Delaware Drive, East & West Mullica Drive in Little Egg Harbor, Ocean County, New Jersey. Sanitary Sewer Construction: The scope of the work includes the bypass pumping, removal and disposal of existing pipe and manholes (disposal of any asbestos containing material/pipe shall be performed according to all Federal, State and Local requirements. The cost of removal and disposal shall be included in the cost of the various bid items in the proposal), truck manifest trip tickets of any asbestos containing material/ pipe to ensure proper disposal, installation of a contract quantity of 6,000 LF of 8" PVC, 225 lateral connections, 22 manholes, and the installation of 6,700 SY of HMA 12.5M64 along East and West Mohawk Drive, East & West Delaware Drive, East & West Mullica Drive in Little Egg Harbor, Ocean County, New Jersey. The Little Egg Harbor Municipal Utilities Authority reserves the right to consider the bids for sixty (60) days after the receipt thereof, and further reserves the right to reject any or all bids, either in whole or in part and also to waive any informality in any and make such awards or take action as may be in the best interest of the Little Egg Harbor Municipal Utilities Authority.
