Description

Tenant improvement modifications to the existing office building located at 2000 San Pablo Ave in Oakland, California. The scope of work will focus on the repurposing of space and increasing workstation quantities on the second and third floors of this occupied facility. Included in these services will be full re-cabling of voice/data infrastructure, associated mechanical, electrical, life safety, LEED, commissioning, security, telecommunications, low voltage, and new interior furniture installation. Floor coverings will also be replaced. Each of these floors is approximately 27,000 square feet with work to be phased on a floor-by-floor basis, as negotiated with the Social Services Agency stakeholders and GSA. To bid on this Project, the Bidder is required to possess the following State of California Contractor Licenses: B Contractors License A bid bond by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the County, cash, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the County of Alameda, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, shall accompany the Bid Form, as a guarantee that the Bidder will, within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the Notice of Award, enter into a contract with the County for the performance of the services as stipulated in the bid. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Work.
