Description

Questions Due Date: Jan 3th 2022, 5:00 PM PST REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS: General Contractors interested in submitting proposals for construction of the SJVRWRF Plant 1 Rehabilitation and Centrate Equalization Project are invited to prequalify. The prequalification documents, specifically for this project, must be completed and submitted for consideration. General Contractors who have not been prequalified for the SJVRWRF Plant 1 Rehabilitation and Centrate Equalization Project will not be allowed to submit a bid. The San Jacinto Valley Regional Water Reclamation Facility (SJVRWRF) Plant 1 was constructed in the mid-1960s and was taken offline in 2013 following the completion of SJVRWRF Plant 2 Expansion Project. When Plant 2 was brought online, sewage from the San Jacinto service area was diverted to the Perris Valley RWRF to allow Plant 1 to remain shut down. A condition assessment of the SJVRWRF Plant 1 facilities completed in March 2018 recommended incorporating the Plant 2 primaries as the feed to the Plant 1 secondary process. This recommendation simplifies the rehabilitation of Plant 1 and allows the Plant 1 primaries to be reserved for alternative use. With recent growth and advancement of the Purified Water Replenishment Program, returning Plant 1 to active service is needed. The District will be looking to advertise and package this project with the SJVRWRF Centrate Equalization Project which will require the installation of a transfer and return Centrate pump station, ancillary piping, and rehabilitation of an existing digester.
