HVAC & Duct Cleaning and Fiber Lock Sealing

The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, supplies, testing, and supervision to complete all work described in this Statement of work (SOW) for Air Handling Units (AHUs) 1 & 2, which are located on the fourth floor machinery room of Bldg 4 at the Philadelphia Naval Business Center (PNBC), Philadelphia, PA 19112. Generally, AHU 1 serves hallway corridors, pavilions and wings on the ground floor and second floor of the northern portion of Bldg 4. Air Handling Unit 2 generally serves hallway corridors, pavilions and wings on the ground floor and second floor of the southern portion of Bldg 4. The Contractor shall clean the AHUs, supply and return ductwork, outside air intakes, air distribution devices, blowers and fans, terminal units, coils, and other components to a visibly clean condition. Subsequent to the successful cleaning of the Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) system, the ductwork shall be sealed with a flexible, durable, and moisture resistant penetrating coating to improve air flow and discourage both mold and the build up of particulate matter in the HVAC system. Work shall take place on Saturdays and Sundays to minimize disturbance to building operations and occupants.
