Location: In Cumberland County, project begins in the city of South Portland on Interstate 295 approximately 0.4 of a mile easterly of the Scarborough town line and extending northerly to the city of Portland. The following bridges will be included in the project: South Portland: 1-295 NB over State Route 703 (No. 6273), and 1-295 NB over Westbrook Street/ Route 9 (No. 6249). South Portland - Portland: 1-295 NB over Fore River (No. 6281). Portland: PTRR/ Fore River over Maine Central Railroad (No. 6291), Congress & Park Streets (No. 6294), St James Street (No. 6295), PTRR/ St John over Maine Central Railroad (No. 6296), St John Street (No. 6297), and 1-295 over Washington Ave (No. 0816).
