Summer 2020 - Competing Vegetation Removal Project

Services of an Operator for approximately a four (4) month period at specifically designated locations to provide ground application of herbicide in forested areas of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to aid in the establishment of stands of desirable trees by eliminating competing understory vegetation consisting primarily of hay scented fern, striped maple, beech brush, spicebush, mile-a-minute vine, and various species of grass. The types and categories of equipment, specific locations and the timing for herbicide application required for Purchase Order(s) are detailed in Section G. All Purchase Orders require the Operator to provide the herbicide, labor, insurance, and all miscellaneous expenses to complete the operation. The Commission will reimburse the Operator based upon the surveyed acreage treated.
