The lowest responsive bidder must demonstrate previous successful completion of projects of a similar size and scope to be considered for the award of this contract. Description: Maine Federal Aid Project Nos. 2596100, WIN 25961.00, 2596500, WIN 25965.00, & 2596900, WIN 25969.00. Location: In York County: Project 2596100 is located in Old Orchard Beach on Union Avenue beginning at Saco Avenue and extending East 0.56 of a mile to West Grand Avenue. Project 2596500 is located in Old Orchard Beach on Route 5 beginning at Adelaide Road and extending west 0.35 miles to 0.02 miles East of Myrtle Avenue. In Cumberland County: Project 2596900 is located in Scarborough on East Grand Avenue beginning at Old Orchard Beach town line and extending East 0.61 miles to Pine Point Road. Outline of Work: Pavement Milling, Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay with Drainage and Safety Improvements, and other incidental work. The basis of award will be Section 1 Only. Options 1 and 2 must be bid. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract price, will be required of the successful Bidder.
