Description

Paving Improvements Project A will consist of all labor, equipment, material, and Incidental items for the constructior of approximately 5,250 square yards of 9" PC concrete paving beginning at Lost Creel Parkway and extending approximately 1,120 feet to the south. Paving will be 9-inch thick anc 41-feet wide. The work will also Include the construction of concrete drives, RCP storm sewer storm sewer appurtenances, earthwork, seeding, traffic control, and all other necessary work required to complete the project in accordance with the plans and specifications. Project A will be completed for Platte County. Project B will consist of all labor, equipment, material, and Incidental items for the constructior of approximately 6,500 square yards of 9" PC concrele paving beginning at Lost Creek Parkway and extending approximately 1,300 fest o the north. Paving will be 8-inch thick and 41-feet wide. The work will also Include the construction of concrete drives, a roundabout sidewalk, RCP storm sewer, storm sewer appurtenances, earthwork, seeding, traffic control and all other necessary work required to complete the project in accordance with the plans anc specifications. Project B will be completed for Convergence, LLC. Engineer's Estimate of Costs Paving Improvements -- Project A = $1,300,000 Paving Improvements -- Project B = $1,600,000 13 The Owner intends to award a contract for all work o be performed. Contract will be awarded based on price, construction timeline, recommendations and past performance with the Owners and Engineer *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids, and to waive any Irregularities in bidding. It is the responsibility of the contractor to fully examine the plans and specifications for the project and include all labor, materials, and cost of equipment, that will be included in the construction of the project Bidders shall submit a bid security certificate in the amount of 5% of the grand total base Bid with all bids. bid security certificate, the Bidders shall submit a certified check in the amount of 5% of the grand total base bid.
