Gettysburg Regional Airport (GRA) Construct South Apron, Phase IV

The project consists of the mass grading of the southeastern side of the existing airport to prepare for future hangar, building, and pavement construction. Excess material excavated from this area will be placed on the northside of the runway for future projects, utilized to fill in an existing wet pond, and the remaining material exported off the project site. Stormwater facilities including storm sewers, two detention basins, and two rain gardens will be constructed with the project. An existing wind cone and segmented circle will be reconstructed in a different location at the site. Erosion and sedimentation control facilities will be installed for the project to control sediment and the entire disturbed area will be seed and mulched to prepare for future phases of construction.
