Description

Scope: The work shall include rehabilitation to approximately 4000 LF of 24” DIP force main that has been degraded by exposure to hydrogen sulfide gas. Rehabilitation may include open trench replacement of the line, pipe bursting, or installation of a liner system such as Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP), or any combination thereof. The finished product shall be of a material that is inert to hydrogen sulfide. If replacement with DIP is proposed, the DIP shall be lined with a ceramic epoxy lining such as Tnemec Series 431 Perma-Shield PL or approved equal.
