2021 Salt Shed Roof Replacement at the Sherwood Facility

The project will consist of the removal and recycling of all involved original shingles/tar paper/edging/roof venting/fastening hardware, the removal of all skylight window lenses and associated materials with them, closing up of all skylight access holes in the current roof deck with appropriate new materials, replacement of any rotted or decayed plywood decking with new materials, installation of new dimensional shingles, tar paper, ice and water control edging and trim, and the installation of a ridge vent per liking of County staff. County staff will choose color of shingles and all associated edging and trim. Complete project cleanup of work site by the awarded contractor. Contractor must schedule and utilize self-provided dumpster for disposal of tear off materials, along with the prompt removal of dumpster from job site upon completion of contracted work.
