Description

This project involves site developments for a new emergency management campus consisting of renovations to existing structures (EOC building at 13,090 sf, animal control and flood plain management building at 840 sf) as well as construction of a new 3,470 sf free-standing 911 call center building. A certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total Bid, or a satisfactory Bid Bond furnished by a solvent surety company authorized to do business in the state of West Virginia in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Bid must be submitted with each Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to execute a contract and provide a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the contract award. Compliance subject to change by request, and formal review of limitations by the County Commission. All Prime Contractors and Subcontractors shall be licensed in compliance with SB409 (WV Contractor's Licensing Act). All General Contractors shall include their license number in the space provided on the Bid Form. After the scheduled closing time for receipt of Bids, no Bid may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days. The project involves selective demolition and renovations to existing site structures, site developments, and construction of a new free-standing building
