Description | The purpose of this bid is to provide a (1) one year requirement contract to supply and deliver the District up to 644,050 pounds of active liquid emulsion polymer for effective treatment processes at the District's Easterly, Southerly, and Westerly Wastewater Treatment Plants (WWTPs) as specified. This quantity is the estimate needed for twelve (12) months. By submission of this bid, the bidder warrants that it is understood that this estimate was prepared by the District for the purpose of comparison of bids and that the estimated quantity is not guaranteed. In addition, the bidder warrants that it is understood that the District reserves the right to increase or decrease the amount purchased, as the District may deem desirable. Only emulsion polymer will be considered for the award of this contract. It will be understood that the terms "polymer" or "liquid polymer" shall mean "emulsion polymer." Each bidder shall bid only one (1) polymer. The treatment plants are in operation seven (7) days per week, 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Bidder shall be capable of providing on-site technical assistance throughout the term of the contract. All bidders must provide a 24-hour contact name and phone number on letterhead paper, with their bid. All questions regarding any irregularities and /or requests for information related to these bid documents shall be submitted via e-mail to the Technical Services Group Contract Administration Lead, Nikki Zippay (zippayn@neorsd.org). Such inquiries will be answered as soon as is practicable. Any substantive information provided by the District in response to such questions will be distributed as an addendum to the bid documents.
