| Description | Contractor shall remove all flooring down to sub-flooring, abate all associated asbestos, paint all walls, doors, door frames, window frames, install new cove base and install new flooring system per the Project Objectives above. It is believed that the existing flooring is a composite of tile overlaid with linoleum. Existing tile and mastic are believed to be asbestos containing materials. The Contractor shall follow all local, state and federal laws for asbestos abatement. The Contractor is responsible for any permits related to the project. The Contractor shall transport and dispose of any material containing contaminants regulated by federal, state, or local regulation in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. |
