| Description | Shear approximately 125 acres of lowland brush and small aspen on frozen ground using a D6N LGP dozer (or equivalent) equipped with a KG style blade (or equivalent). The main cover types to be sheared include wet meadow shrub subtype, willow swamp, and lowland brush. The total project area consists of an 88-acre unit on South Shore WMA and a 37-acre unit within the Lake of the Woods State Forest. Both sites are in Lake of the Woods Township in Roseau County, approximately 10 miles NE of Roosevelt, MN. |
