Description

The contractor shall provide all personnel, labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, management, and other items and services necessary to perform fuel dispenser penetration boot replacement, on Davis-Monthan Air Force Base (DMAFB), Arizona. The contractor shall perform the following tasks for replacing fuel dispenser penetration boots at facility 2446 at DMAFB. 1. Place barricades / fencing to secure 2 dispensers. Work will be phased and limited to 2 dispensers at a time. This will ensure a minimum of 4 dispensers (8 hoses) always available for customers. 2. Remove existing fuel dispensers from secured island. 3. Replace all penetration boots for the under-dispenser containment (UDC) pans and underground storage tanks (UST) sumps. 4. After replacement of penetration boots, contractor shall reinstall the existing fuel dispensers. 5. Perform hydrostatic tests on each UDC pan, UST sump, and all fuel lines. 6. After successful hydrostatic test, contractor shall re-start up the fuel dispensers. 7. Relocate barricades / fencing to secure the next 2 dispensers. Repeat steps 2-6. 8. Relocate barricades / fencing to secure the final 2 dispensers. Repeat steps 2-6.
