Maintenance Dredging, Delaware River, Philadelphia to Sea and Wilmington Harbor, Christina River

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District, intends to award a firm fixed contract. Contract work consists of maintenance dredging of approximately 2.7 million cubic yards of sediment within the Delaware River, Philadelphia to Sea main navigation channel between Stations 0+000 and 515+000 and approximately 650,000 cubic yards within Wilmington Harbor, Christina River. Work includes hydraulic dredging with placement of the dredged material into the Pedricktown, Killcohook, Artificial Island and/or Reedy Point disposal areas. All dredging will be performed to the required depths indicated with 1-foot allowable overdepth. All dredging shall be performed as contour dredging. Before and after dredging surveys for measurement will be performed by the government. This is not a request for proposals at this time, Solicitation Number W912BU22B0008 will be issued on or about 15 August 2022 with a bid opening date occurring at least 30 days after the Solicitation. The period of performance for the contract will be 165 calendar days. Estimated cost range of the project is $25,000,000 to $100,000,000. This will be a full and open unrestricted advertisement. Neither telephonic, mailed nor faxed requests for hard copies of this solicitation will be accepted.
