Description

Replace an existing pedestrian wood bridge, located over the waterway, with a prefabricated aluminum alloy pedestrian bridge. Allowance #1 to be included in base bid: Additional 10 cubic yards of undercutting/fill at excavation. Allowance #2 to be included in base bid: Additional 10 cubic yards of concrete at foundations. The subject site is located at 161BeeTree Road,Swannanoa, NC 28778, which is identified by Buncombe, County PIN number 9689-82-8223.The proposed area of construction is relatively flat, with an elevation of approximately 2,199’according to Buncombe County GIS. The area for development is located at the Main entrance of the building, with two bridges providing access from the parking lot. The bridge due to be replaced is Bridge.
