Description | The District will consider the proposals at a special called Board meeting on November 17th, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. Lytle Lake WCID reserves the right to waive any and all formalities or reject any or all proposals or accept any proposal that is deemed to be the best benefit for the taxpayers of the Lytle Lake WCID and in the best interest of the Lytle Lake WCID. Inquiries concerning this solicitation shall be directed to Heather Henderson, Lake Manager, 325-690-0835 or llwcid@llwcid.org The Lytle Lake Water Control and Improvement District (LLWCID) intends to select a firm to supply and install a diffused aeration system in a portion of Lytle Lake. The lake is a shallow lake with maximum depth of 12' and is currently approximately 5' below spillway and experiencing a significant fish kill. The immediate District need is to reduce the fish kill and eliminate it provided lake levels do not continue to diminish. The longer range goal is to reduce muck and improve habitat and water quality. The attached lake contour map shows approximately 35 acres on the north end of the lake at a normal depth of 9'. This area includes an area of approximately 12 acres at a normal depth of 11'. The District has access and 120v power at the area designated W.T.U. Park on the contour map. The area has been renamed Tittle Park. The District intends to select a contractor based upon qualifications at a special called meeting on November 17th, 2022. Successful proposer shall then have not more than 2 weeks to complete Phase 1 work. Upon execution of the contract, successful proposer shall begin installation in not more than 3 weeks to complete and commission the installation in not more than 3 additional weeks |
