Description

Scope of WorkI. Removal of power (& power cables) to the Well 9 building. II. Procurement of demolition permits from the local and state authorities. III. Removal and disposal of the electrical and hydraulic infrastructure prior to demolition. IV. Grading, Erosion & Sediment Control: Erosion and sediment control must be placed prior to demolition. V. Demolition of the Well 9 Building. VI. Demolition of the Contact chamber from elevation 6161 (floor level at the pump room) to elevation 6159 (street level). Rest of the Contact chamber will have to be filled (approximately 35 cu yards) and compacted. VII. Disposal of all the building material debris according to the local and state laws. VIII. Backfill and Compaction: Any excavation must be backfilled and compacted to the grade level. IX. Seeding- Empty lot will need to be seeded to maintain an aesthetically pleasing appearance post demolition. X. Project Completion Report: A project completion report shall be provided containing approximate quantities of non-hazardous waste generated after demolition of existing infrastructure and disposal documentation. The report should discuss any safety issues encountered during abatement, demolition or disposal during this project.
