RFP - Construction Engineering, Inspection, and Management Services - 12th Avenue Northwest and SR 900 Intersection Improvement Project

The City of Issaquah Department of Public Works is procuring consultant services to provide construction engineering, inspection, and management services for 12th Ave NW & SR 900 Intersection Improvement Project. This project agreement will be for the construction phase of this project. The City of Issaquah reserves the right to retain the services of the successful firm(s) for any subsequent phases associated with this project. This project will modify the signalized intersection of 12th Avenue NW and SR 900 by adding a right turn lane from northbound SR 900 to southbound 12th Avenue NW and a second left turn lane from northbound 12th Avenue NW to southbound SR 900. The 12th Avenue NW typical section will have 8' sidewalk and 5' protected bike lanes on both sides, 10' through lanes, 11' turn lanes. A 5' landscape strip will be constructed between the back of curb and bike lane. The project has state funding through WSDOT and TIB and funding from Costco as part of their development agreement with the City of Issaquah. The project is expected to start construction in Fall 2022 and continue into 2023. Some of the work may be expected to be done during the night. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
