Description: The City is soliciting proposals for turnkey purchase and installation of whole building generators for Battle Creek Fire Department station generators. QUESTIONS REGARDING PROPOSAL SUBMITTAL clhuff@battlecreekmi.gov Proposals shall be turnkey, all-inclusive of, but NOT limited to, parts, labor, freight, equipment, PERMITS, bonds, insurance, overhead, mobilization, utilities, disposal of old generators, facilitation and cost of meter upgrades, gas piping, transfer switches, all parts, etc. Before submitting a proposal, firms shall carefully examine the scope of work and shall fully inform themselves as to all existing conditions and limitations and shall indicate in the proposal all items requested. Proposals for each station shall include, without qualifications or conflicting terms and conditions, and fully describe the scope of work for a TURNKEY SOLUTION for each station. Proposals shall be good for 60 days from submittal due date, so price accordingly Station 1: 195 E Michigan Avenue Base: 40kw natural gas powered automatic-start generator Alternate: 45kw natural gas powered automatic-start generator Please provide pricing for the Base 40kw and also the Alternate 45kw, and make a recommendation on which would be best for Station 1 and why it would be best. Station 2: 145 N. Washington Ave 22kw industrial natural gas powered automatic-start generator Please submit pricing and info for the 22kw at minimum, but you may also (in addition) make a recommendation for another size generator for that station. Please include reasons why that size would be better. Station 5: 1170 W. Michigan Ave 22kw industrial natural gas powered automatic-start generator Please submit pricing and info for the 22kw at minimum, but you may also (in addition) make a recommendation for another size generator for that station.
