Description

Mission Installation Contracting Command- MICC Fort Polk, has a dual requirements project from the United States Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) Fort Polk Directorate of Public Works (DPW) to repair a failed back slope on the Engineer Lake Embankment Dam and for Dusenbury Road repairs at Fort Polk, LA. The government would like the projects completed concurrently. Due to concerns with inclement weather, work shall begin on Engineer Lake Dam first. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, plant, materials, and equipment to provide repairs and new construction of pavement, infrastructure, and drainage as described in the Statement of Work (SOW) and drawings at various locations at Ft. Polk, Louisiana. The anticipated Period of Performance is estimated to be up to 6 months. This acquisition is being procured as a competitive Certified 8(a) small business set-aside. The assigned North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237310 "Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction" with a small business size standard of $39.5 million. Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued on 10 August 2022. The closing date for submission of bids is 12 September 2022 at 3:00 PM Central Standard Time (CST). Site visit date and other pertainet data is contained in the IFB. All interested sources who provide goods or services to the Department of Defense (DOD) must be registered and current in the System for Acquisition Management (SAM) website, and be able to electronically submit invoices / receiving reports through the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE), Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF) system. IN ACCORDANCE WITH (IAW) FAR 36.204, THE ESTIMATE MAGNITUDE FOR WORK PERFORMED UNDER THE RESULTING CONTRACT IS BETWEEN $1,000.000.00 AND $5,000,000.00.
