Description | As of August 9, 2022, the project is awarded to J.E. Borries, Inc for $2,816,121.40. Bids are invited for the Hurricane Zeta I-110 Marina Repair Project. The project is located in the CITY OF D'IBERVILLE, HARRISON COUNTY, MISSISSIPPI. All Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft payable to the order of The City of D'Iberville, Mississippi, negotiable U.S. Government bonds (at par value), or a satisfactory Bid bond executed by the Bidder and an acceptable surety, must be submitted in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. All Bids submitted in excess of $50,000.00 by a prime or subcontractor to do any erection, building, construction, repair, maintenance or related work, must comply with Section 31-3-21, Mississippi Code of 1972, by having a current Certificate of Responsibility from the State Board of Public Contractors. The scope of work for this project shall require a Contractor to be classified in the following category: Marine Construction. The current Certificate of Responsibility Number shall be indicated on the exterior of the sealed bid envelope in order to be opened. All Bids submitted for $50,000 or less shall be so marked on the exterior of the sealed bid envelope. The City of D'Iberville reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and to award said bid in the best interest of the City. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract. SCOPE OF WORK 1.1 This work shall consist of the installation of concrete piles in locations as designated in the plans. 1.2 The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, and supplies required to complete the installation of piling in accordance with the plans, specifications, and terms of the Contract. |
