HRJ Ln/Power Dr Reconstruction Project

The Board Public Works and Safety of the City of Jasper, Indiana, hereby gives notice that it will receive bids for the demolition and reconstruction of approximately 2850 linear feet roadway, removal and replacement of storm sewers, curb and gutter and appurtenances. The project area is defined as HRJ Lane from Dispatch Road to Kimball Blvd and Power Drive from 12th Ave to approximately 450 feet north of HRJ Lane. A 100% Performance Bond and Payment Bond is required before beginning work in the form provided in the specifications. Also, all insurance required in the specifications must be in place before commencing work. A Bid Bond or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the bid is required with each bid. All parts of Contractors Bid for Public Works (Form 96), including the Non-Collusion Affidavit, must be completed. Those submitting a Bid will be required to make such disclosures as may be necessary for the City of Jasper to successfully implement that policy and otherwise comply with the Indiana Code pertaining to Nepotism Policy requirements. An Indiana Legal Employment Declaration will be required and an Affidavit Regarding Non responsibility will be required. The quotes may be held for 30 days.
