Mitel Business Telephone System

The BJCC seeks a vendor to replace the existing Mitel Hybrid PBX with a Mitel IP switch for the BJCC complex. The complex includes an Arena, Concert Hall, Theatre, Exhibition Halls, a 10-Story Office building, and our new Protective Stadium. The majority of the equipment will be housed in BJCC’s MDF located in the North Exhibition Hall. An AX controller will also be installed at the Protective Stadium to cover elevators, fax machines and transient analog requests. In the Forum Building, BJCC serves as a shared tenant provider. BJCC infrastructure will not support IP; BJCC will utilize fibrage to accommodate these users. A fiber network has been installed to provide coverage to the Protective Stadium. BJCC also seeks to replace the existing voicemail system with a new system capable of Unified Messaging and Auto Attendant.
