Northside MS HVAC Replacement - Installation Only

Norfolk Public Schools (NPS) is the largest urban school division in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the seventh largest division overall. The division enrolls a racially and economically diverse population of approximately 30,000 total students supported by a staff of more than 4,600 employees in 52 facilities. The educational philosophy of the division is based on the belief that all children can achieve at high levels and that it is the responsibility of the staff and community to ensure that each child reaches his or her highest potential. The Contractor shall substantially complete all work by August 31, 2023 in accordance with the Contract Documents. Final Completion shall be September 30, 2023. This date is to be stated in the Agreement between Owner and Contractor, and to execute the Agreement in the form of Norfolk Public Schools Agreement between Owner and Contractor, Latest Edition, if notified of award of the contract within forty-five (45) calendar days after the bid opening date. The Undersigned further agrees, if awarded the contract, to execute and deliver Performance and Labor and Materials Payment Bonds on AIA document A312 and 100% of Contract amount. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond or guarantee of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, which shall be a certified check, cash escrow or a bid bond payable to the Norfolk Public Schools. The deadline for submitting questions under this IFB is 9:30 AM EST, August 3, 2022. Oral comments and/or instructions do not form a part of this IFB.
