GLO CDBG-DR Street Improvement Project

The project scope for the Base bid and Alternate bids includes but is not limited to: For Roads with existing Concrete Curb and Gutter: 1. Remove asphalt and base while protecting existing curb and storm sewers. 2. Furnish, place, shape and compact limestone base as shown on the plans. 3. Prime coat application. 4. HMAC Surface– construct new hot mix asphaltic concrete surface. 5. Clean up site. For Roads with Open Ditch: 1. Pulverize existing road and mix/rework road base. Shape and compact. 2. Furnish, place, shape and compact limestone base as shown on the plans. 3. Prime coat application. 4. HMAC Surface– construct new hot mix asphaltic concrete surface. 5. HMAC For Driveways as shown on the plans. 6. Backfilling of pavement edges. 7. Final site cleanup. Base Bid Locations: 1. Bay Street – 347 to Allison (Curb and Gutter). 2. Woodlawn Drive – 347 to Allison (Curb and Gutter). 3. Allison Avenue – 32nd to Woodlawn (Curb and Gutter). 4. Real Boulevard – Main to Lincoln. 5. Jackson Boulevard – Main to Lincoln. 6. Mire Street – Main to Cooley. 7. Willis Street – Main to Cooley. 8. Ruby Drive – North to 25th. 9. Cooley Avenue – Mire to 25th. 10. Smith Street – Owens to Main. 11. 25th Street – Owens to 73. 12. Graves Avenue – 32nd to 25th. Alternate Bid Locations: 1. Cove Drive – Main to end. 2. Martin Street – Owens to Main. 3. David Street – Owens to Main.
