Description

This synopsis is for the Restrooms, Breakrooms, O2 Generator Shelters (Upper and Lower Dissolved Oxygen Plants). This acquisition is being offered as a 100% Small Business set-aside solicitation and will result in a single Firm Fixed Price Contract Award. The magnitude of this requirement per FAR 36.204 is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. Project Location: The Upriver Dissolved Oxygen Plant is located along the Savannah River near the City of Rincon in Effingham County, Georgia 31326. The Lower Dissolved Oxygen Plant is located along the Savannah River, on Hutchinson Island in the City of Savannah, Chatham County, Georgia 31421. Project Description: The modular restroom/breakroom building will be approximately 12'x32' and include a kitchenette with a minimum of seven (7) feet of base cabinets solid surface, countertop with backsplash and sink. Matching wall cabinets the full length of the base cabinets solid surface, countertop backsplash and sink. Matching wall cabinets the full length of the base cabinets with height over the sink to provide headroom. The restroom will include a fully operational shower with soap dish, curtain and rod, robe and towel hooks and horizontal grab bars. Also in the water closet will be a floor mounted toilet and wall mounted lavatory with soap, paper towel, and toilet tissue dispensers. Instantaneous hot water heater will provide service to the shower, lavatory and kitchenette sink. The O2 generator shelter portion of the project will include the design and construction of pre-engineered metal-framed, fabric covered canopy systems. The sizes of each shelter will be in-line with the size of the pad and number of generators at the respective dissolved oxygen plant. Both Dissolved Oxygen sites are remote and do not have restroom facilities. The contractor shall provide portable toilets and hand washing stations at both sites for their personnel and any subcontractors they employ during the construction of the facilities listed in this contract. Evaluation Criteria: The contract will be solicited and procured using Sealed Bidding Procedures under FAR Part 14. NOTE: This solicitation will be issued in electronic format and is anticipated to be available on or about January 12, 2024. Please note that only authorized transmission method for proposals in response to this solicitation is electronic format via the PROCUREMENT INTEGRATED ENTERPRISE ENVIRONMENT (PIEE), no other transmission methods (email, facsimile, regular mail, hand carried, etc.) will be accepted. The Offeror's Bid must be received by the Government by the date/time specified in the solicitation. Offerors shall submit their proposal using the following link: https://piee.eb.mil/. The bid opening date will be specified in the solicitation when issued. No additional media (CDROM, floppy disks, faxes, etc.) will be provided.
