Barlow Community Center Dam Improvements

Improvements at two lakes (upper and lower) and dams. Improvements at the upper lake include excavation to provide additional storm water storage, upgrades to the existing dam’s emergency spillway and modifications to the dam’s primary outlet and auxiliary valve system. Upgrades to the lower lake include the construction of a new dam to be located within the footprint of the existing lake, dredging of a portion of the lower lake and modifications to the primary outlet and auxiliary valve system. Upon completion of the mass grading and dam improvement work, existing asphalt walking trails and disturbed grass areas will be restored, and new trees planted.
