Fort Benning Heavy Equipment Transportation (HET)

To exercise the base year plus four option years of a new contract. This contract is to provide HET services in support Programs of Instructions (POI) and Non-POI requirements conducted by the Maneuver Center of Excellence and other units throughout Fort Benning. The contractor will be responsible for transporting tactical equipment to and from local training areas and ranges. The contract will cover Army Sponsor Events in Phenix City, Alabama and Columbus, Georgia. The contractor will be responsible for meeting the shipping requirements and quantities as specified by the Contracting Officer Representative (COR). The Government shall be responsible for providing a minimum number of 550 loads and a maximum number of 950 loads during each performance period. The service contract will support the following vehicles: - Abrams Main Battle Tanks: M1A1, M1A2, & M1A1(SEP)V3 - Bradley Fighting Vehicle Infantry/Cavalry Version: M2A3 -Recovery Vehicle: M88A1 & M88A2 -Stryker Variants: M1126, M1127, M1128, M1129, M1130 & M1134
