LENEL-Certified Security System Services & Hardware

The Contractor shall provide the technical services, personnel, hardware, software, materials, equipment and transportation to install, relocate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, design, test, and upgrade the LENEL ESS at NUWCDIVNPT and its detachments. The Contractor shall provide non-emergency, maintenance and repair services of the LENEL ESS located within the NUWCDIVNPT installation and its facilities onboard Naval Station Newport in Newport, RI using two (2) full-time, on-site, LENEL-certified Technicians during normal business hours. Normal business hours are defined as an established 8-hour work period between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays. The Contractor shall provide maintenance and repair hardware inventory as specified in individual task orders. All maintenance and repair inventory shall be LENEL-brand or certified compatible with and approved for use with LENEL systems only. The two (2) full-time, on-site, LENEL-certified technicians will also provide support for site survey and estimates for all ESS projects identified by the NUWCDIVNPT Command Security Division at no additional cost. If additional personnel are required to conduct the site surveys and estimates, the Contractor shall provide them at the same hourly labor rate as the on-site technician, no additional costs will be allowed. The Labor/Cost of the survey/estimate will be included in the estimate price. If the task is not executed, the survey/estimate will be free. Estimates will be valid for a period of one year from the date of the survey.
