Mossy Oaks Subdivision Drainage Improvements

This project consists of drainage improvements to relieve the localized flooding that the subdivision experiences during heavy rain events. These drainage improvements consist of the construction of underground storm sewer beneath a few of the existing roadside ditches and regrading for all ditches. The proposed drainage improvements will be connected to the existing Harris County Flood Control District channel E132-02-01 to the south of the subdivision where the subdivision currently outfalls. The driveways and roadside ditches above the proposed storm sewer will be reconstructed. There will be no major roadway construction performed. Paving work will be limited to replacing driveways deemed necessary in the construction drawings, and storm sewer crossings to connect proposed storm sewer catchments to the proposed storm sewer on opposite sides of roads.
