Description

1.1 Overview. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires supply and installation of three (3) Multi-Split high efficiency inverter driven heat pump systems for cold climates in the Display Area of the Libby Dam Visitor Center. 1.2 Background. The existing Libby Dam Visitor Center HVAC system is comprised of electric duct coil units that provide heating and packaged air-cooled water chiller with fan coil units to provide cooling. Air is ducted from air handling units and diffused into the display area space. This system will remain in place and functional for the duration of this contract. All new work will stand alone and will require neither demolition of existing equipment nor integration with existing equipment. 1.3 Objectives. The objective of this project is to provide heating and cooling to the Visitors Center Display area via independent multi-split high efficiency inverter driven heat pump systems that meets the performance requirements defined in this SOW. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requires supply and installation of three (3) Multi-Split high efficiency inverter driven heat pump systems for cold climates in the Display Area of the Libby Dam Visitor Center. Located at 260 Souse Gulch Road, Libby MT 59923.
