| Description | 1. The impressed current cathodic protection system provides corrosion control for the metallic components of the specified piping system. 2. The cathodic protection system shall be maintained by a firm/technician regularly engaged in the installation and fabrication of the materials/systems which have been in satisfactory use in similar service for not less than 15 years 3. The cathodic protection system preventative maintenance shall include a minimum of the following services: 1. Structure to electrolyte potential measurements 2. Monitor current output. 3. Inspect, test and clean rectifier, controls, meters, contacts, and connections. 4. Adjust system for optimum corrosion control. 5. Submit report with all data obtained, evaluation of data and recommendations for continued performance. |
