BIA/ C and L Aerospace, Additions and Renovations to Docks 10, 11, 12 and 13 - New Exterior Siding Docks 10, 11, 12 and 13

Project 4: New Exterior Siding Docks 10, 11, 12 & 13: Base bid includes new metal siding on furring strips on rigid insulation on existing metal hangar siding. Two alternates are: (1) painting the hangars in lieu of new siding/ insulation and (2) new siding on Dock 11 and painting the remaining 3 hangars. Bids must be accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond. Checks will not be accepted. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond to cover the execution of the Contract and shall be for the Contract amount. All questions must be submitted in electronic format to bids@bangormaine.gov no later than 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 23, 2018. Federal Funding Federal Participation Disclosure - This project will be partially funded with Federal funds from the US Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration (EDA) and therefore is subject to the Federal laws and regulations associated with that program. Davis-Bacon wage rates are in effect. The total amount of federal funding included in the project financing will be $1,243,000 which represents a portion of the total project costs to include design, construction, project inspection and management of the project. The project must be substantially complete by 1 November 2019. No plan holder's list maintained.
