Description

Replace 8” Gate Valve Boiler 3 Steam Header. 1. Remove insulation from existing 8” OS&Y gate valve and piping. 2. Remove existing 8” OS&Y gate valve. Existing valve is welded in place. 3. Supply and install two new 300# flange ends for valve installation. 4. Supply and install a new 8” OS&Y gate valve (300# rated). 5. Supply new bolts, nuts & gaskets for valve installment. 6. Supply and install new thermal blanket onto new valve. 7. Supply and install new chain wheel onto new valve. 8. Reinsulate new piping to match existing. 9. Removal of old valve and cleaning of area when complete. 10. Prevailing wage rates apply (rate sheet attached). 11. Work to begin last week of May. Plant will be offline and all systems cooled. 12. Work must be completed and invoiced no later than last week of June. 13. Quoted must state and abide by OSD State Contract TRD01.
