Description

The Base Bid work shall be commenced no earlier than May 15th, 2023, and shall be fully completed within Thirty (30) consecutive calendar days thereafter. Contract including all Alternative work items shall be fully completed on or before July 28th , 2023. For clarification of the technical requirements of this 'Request for bid', contact: Karl Reynolds Physical Plant Director or George Proctor Assistant Director 918-343-7818 kreynolds@rsu.edu or gproctor@rsu.edu 1. Provide saw cuts and remove damaged asphalt and/or concrete to a depth which provides a solid base. rock fill as needed to a depth of 3" for asphalt and 6" for concrete. Provide tack coat prior to placement of asphalt. Base bid for asphalt and concrete street maintenance. 2. Place Type S5 Asphalt within patch cuts. 3. Place 3500 psi, air entrained concrete within patch cuts. 4. Clean all street surfaces free of debris and loose materials. 5. Clean all cracks and joint free of debris and vegetation, 6. Seal all cracks with a hot fill material as appropriate for asphalt. 7. Seal concrete expansion joints and cracks with appropriate self-leveling materials asrequired. 8. Seal coat all street asphalt surfaces with 2 coats. 9. Strip and paint symbols and/pr cross walks on all street and parking surfaces. 10. Contractor to provide labor, material, and equipment necessary to perform the work of this project.
