New 31,250 square feet metal building, including approximately 900 – 1,500 square feet of office space. 1. All design must align with Boulder’s environmental goal to be net zero energy and all electric (where financially feasible) 2. Building design must minimize carbon-based energy use for the building, ideally avoiding onsite fossil fuel combustion, through cost-effective energy-efficient design, building systems controls, and onsite renewable energy generation 3. Building design must reflect Boulder’s climate action plan and environmental policies including the 2020 City of Boulder Energy Conservation Code. 4. Mechanical ventilation and heat pump for the production floor 5. Forced Air heat and cooling for the office space 6. Electrical and Plumbing services for the 31,250 square feet factory and office 7. Architectural design for a new 31,250 square feet metal building 8. Architectural Site Plan design 9. Coordination with finalizing the civil design component.
