2023 Boulevard Tree Pruning

The City of Bismarck is seeking cost proposals for the pruning of boulevard trees in four (4) project areas. Project Area 1: Between Ash Coulee and Century Ave/Country West Rd and E. Valley Dr and N. Washington St. Project Area 2: Between S. Washington St. and University Dr. and E. Wachter Ave and storm ditch that runs south of Houston Dr. and Billings Dr. Project Area 3: Between E. Wachter Ave and E. Bismarck Expressway and University Dr. and S. 3 rd St. Project Area 4: Between E. Wachter Ave and E. Bismarck Expressway and S. Washington St and S. 3rd St Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bidders Bond or a Certified Check payable to the City of Bismarck in the amount of five (5) percent of the Total Sum Bid. The Certified Check or Bidders Bond must be in a separate envelope attached to the outside of the proposal. Please include: Locations of recent work Certificate of Liability Insurance. The Contractor shall acquire and maintain acceptable general liability insurance in the amount of $2,000,000 property damage and bodily injury for one person, and $2,000,000 aggregate for each occurrence and shall name the City of Bismarck as an additional insured with waiver of subrogation on the policy for the duration of this project. Certificate of Workers Compensation coverage. Verification of current ND Contractors License. If a bid is to be faxed, the bid must be sent to a bidder's agent, independent of the City of Bismarck, placed in a sealed envelope, labeled according to this specification, and delivered to the office of the City Administrator prior to the deadline. In accordance with North Dakota state law, a separate envelope containing a current North Dakota contractor's license and a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of five (5) percent of the total amount bid must be attached to the outside of the proposal/bid envelope and labeled "Bid Bond". Checks or bonds of the unsuccessful bidders will be returned to them after making the award. All bidders are invited to be present at the opening of the proposals. The right is reserved to hold all bids for a period of thirty (30) days, to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities or to accept such as may be determined to be for the best interest of the City of Bismarck.
