Description

OPWDD's Contract Management Unit on behalf of Capital District DDSOO is soliciting sealed bids from responsible and qualified contractors to perform Swimming Pool Maintenance Services for various locations in Rensselaer, Saratoga, Warren, and Washington Counties. The scope of work includes but is not limited to: Swimming Pool Maintenance Services at community residences and facilities which are home to a developmentally disabled population including some individuals who are medically or physically disabled, as well as some who are confined to wheelchairs. Seasonal opening, seasonal closing, and weekly maintenance from approximately May until October. Services dates may change due to weather conditions. All pool openings must be completed before Memorial Day. The Contractor shall, unless otherwise specified, furnish all necessary materials, equipment, and supplies required and/or so specified to accomplish the work described in this contract. Although repairs are not included within the scope of this contract the Contractor must be able to demonstrate the ability to perform repairs as needed on various pools. Cost for such repairs will be reimbursed separately and in addition to the amount paid under this contract. Before placing a bid, potential vendors must visit each site they intend to bid on to ensure they are familiar with the location's individual requirements. Vendors only need to visit sites on which they are bidding. Vendors must complete Exhibit A - Site Visit Verification Log (IFB CAP 020223, page 22) and submit the exhibit with their bid. If a vendor does not have a signature for a site, the bid will not be considered for that site. Prevailing Wages apply to this contract. The PRC number for this contract is 2022013268. A copy of Contractor's certified payroll is required to be submitted with invoices prior to payment for services rendered. Vendors may bid on one or multiple sites and multiple contracts may be awarded. Only proposals judged to be responsive to the submission requirements set forth in this IFB will be evaluated. Any alteration of the cost proposal form may result in disqualification of the bid. OPWDD reserves the right to reject any and all offers.
