Stone and Sand Materials

The Water and Sewer Division periodically requests bids for items purchased throughout the year. Vendors are asked to submit a bid on the following items and that the prices are good for the calendar year of 2022. Each year the Village places orders with each of the companies based on who had the lowest cost on the various items. Each year approximately 1,500-2,000 tons of stone, and 10-50 tons of sand are purchased by the Village. These amounts may increase or decrease depending on the work load of the year. Contract Term The initial contract term shall be from the date of January 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022. The Village of Oak Park has the right to renew the contract on an annual basis for two (2) optional one year terms (January 1 to December 31).
