Hartwick Pines SP - Skywalk Cleaning/Staining

Provide all materials, labor, equipment and services necessary to completely: clean; prep wood surfaces; protect surfaces, fasteners, etc. adjoining the work; and stain the wood beams, bracing, posts, etc. of the skywalk structure and lower portions of the handrail posts. The skywalk walking surface lies on the western side of the Visitors Center and is in total approximately 470 feet long and 15 feet above grade and provides access to the Visitors Center from 2 directions. The stairs and wood railing for the skywalk – including upper rail posts and upper and lower frame (handrail & kickrail) that connect to the skywalk structure - are not included in the scope of work. Visitor Center access structures on the north (1), east (2) and south (1) sides are not included in the base scope of work but are identified as individual add alternates. The Visitors Center will be open during the working period, other work will be occurring in the immediate vicinity, scheduled annual park events are planned, and the performance and scheduling of the work shall be closely coordinated with the Park to avoid any impact to the Park, its users, operations, events and work by others
