Description | Turtle Mountain Housing Authority Veterans Village Project Location: 9818 BIA Rd 7, Belcourt, ND 58316. Each bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing the Bidder's Contractor's license and bid security. The Bidder must be licensed for the full amount of the bid. Bid security in the form of a bidder's bond shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after opening of bids. Project consists of approximately 24,000 square feet of new construction for a single level 20-unit veterans apartment building with associated common core space. Construction is wood framed, prefabricated floor and roof trusses, fully finished modular units set over a crawl space and buttoned up on site. Work will include all aspects of the modular construction from interior to exterior finish, including fabrication, installation, general/mechanical/plumbing/electrical/sprinkler construction, assembly, finishing, protecting, hauling to project site, placement, final attachments, and button-up for a fully-finished building. The design will be completed by the Architect in consultation with the Owner and Modular Construction contractor - all will work together collaboratively towards a successful design. Material and quality expectations are to be consistent with the project as previously bid, documents of which are made available to the Contractor along with the preliminary modified floor plans to be consistent with modular construction limitations. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. |
