Sidewalk Repair and Replacement

The project area includes the existing sidewalks and driveway crossings within and near City of Arcadia rights-of-ways of the following segment E. Oak Street from N. Brevard Avenue (US 17 North) to N. Hillsborough Avenue, N. Volusia Avenue from E. Oak Street to E. Cypress Street, E Cypress Street from N. Volusia Avenue to N. Hillsborough Street, N. Hillsborough Street from E. Oak Street to E. Cypress Street. The project also includes an optional scope to replace the existing concrete approach on the south side of the DeSoto County Court House from the sidewalk on E. Oak Street to the Court House steps. Removal of existing damaged sidewalk segments where identified Replacement with new reinforced sidewalk Expansion joint removal and replacement Tree Root Barriers Type F Curbing Grinding of sidewalk lips Milling and resurfacing at driveway crossings Minor sod restoration Striping of driveway crossings and stop bars Minor signage Surface mounted detectable warning mats
