Description

Est. Completion Date: May 26, 2023 Pre-Qualification: Yes Pre-Bid Meeting Info: No Pre-Bid meeting. Project involves the removal of three existing boardwalk bridges and footings and replacing them each with 28 L.F. of 48"x76" horizontal elliptical concrete pipe and end sections. Includes erosion and sediment control measures, traffic control, all setup, operation and continuous maintenance of a temporary dewatering system, excavation, asphaltic concrete pavement and base layer replacement, restoration of disturbed areas and miscellaneous appurtenances required to complete construction. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of Village of Mukwonago and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Village of Mukwonago reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to Village of Mukwonago at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to Village of Mukwonago equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to Village of Mukwonago as liquidated damages.
