Gorman Park Irrigation System

Install the irrigation system as indicated on the plans and includes, but not necessarily limited to: Lawn and shrub sprinkler system automatic controller and remote control valves, the proper execution of the work, including trenching, boring under driveways, walks, and curbs, installation of pipe sleeves, and backfilling. There is an existing irrigation system at this location. Ocean City Recreation & Parks Staff will remove existing heads, valves, valve boxes and remote / automatic controllers; however, remaining underground components will remain intact. It is not necessary to remove remaining abandoned irrigation system components unless they impede installation, nor is it necessary to repair the abandoned components if damaged during installation of the new irrigation system. Removal of additional abandoned components that impede installation of the new irrigation system will be the responsibility of the Successful Vendor. A separate ¾” water line must be installed from the closest water main line to an existing water fountain as part of this project.
