Description

This project consists of pipe bursting of approximately 17,500 linear feet of existing asbestos cement water mains, sizes varying from 4-inches to 12-inches within and adjacent to the Treasure Hills subdivision. The project is being bid with two pipe options: fusible PVC and restrained joint PVC and with two fitting options: DIP fittings and PVC fittings. Work will include temporary water service, various sizes of gate valves and fittings, fire hydrant assemblies, new water services, traffic control, erosion & sediment control, trench safety and removal and replacement of areas of sidewalk, curbing, caliche alleys and asphalt pavement.
