Josten Park Tennis Court Resurfacing

Resurface and renovate the tennis courts. The base bid includes, but is not limited to: color coating surface removal, patching and/or filling all asphalt, ensuring a smooth surface void of bird baths, removal and replacement of existing tennis court net posts, application of acrylic court re-surfacer, application of new color coating surface, painting lines in accordance with tennis and pickleball standards. The alternate bid includes, but is not limited to: color coating surface removal, patching and/or filling all asphalt, ensuring a smooth surface void of bird baths, removal and replacement of existing tennis court net posts, layout and installation of two pickleball courts, installation of barrier fence for new pickleball court area, application of acrylic court re-surfacer, application of new color coating surface, painting lines in accordance with tennis and pickleball standards. The owner will remove and re-install all tennis nets. The contractor is to remove and replace existing tennis net posts to meet USTA standards and specs. Contractor is to power wash entire court surface and locate areas to fill (bird baths). Clean up after power washing. Rout and clean out cracks and joints. Sand joints back to level of court before filling. Fill joints, cracks and depressions with industry standard concrete and court patch binder, and re-sand flush with court surface. Apply industry standard acrylic re-surfacer over areas of repair, and ensure a smooth and uniform surface before applying 1 coat of acrylic resurface material over the entire area. If severe court patching is needed, a second coat of acrylic resurface can be applied with VILLAGE consent. Apply two coats of color coating system (blue interior, green exterior). Apply white lines for tennis court boundaries and yellow lines for pickleball court boundaries. All lines must be masked, line prime applied, and hand painted. Alternate Bid 1 Core and drive fence posts and install 4’ high vinyl coated fence as barrier between tennis and pickle ball courts (see concept #2). 2.1 Repair and Cleaning times.
